Janusz Kasiewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szymon Hajto, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Witomir Literski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Janusz Kasiewski having to make a save. In the 9th minute, Szymon Hajto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kotowa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Witomir Literski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Janusz Kasiewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Tytus Dejo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zawisza Bydgoszcz S.A's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kotowa the free kick. In the 15th minute, Tytus Dejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Witomir Literski struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Janusz Kasiewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kotowa. With 19 minutes on the clock, Witalis Golembiewski commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kotowa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, Zawisza Bydgoszcz S.A's Damazy Zagrodny got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Juliusz Kolano. Kotowa's Juliusz Kolano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Kotowa from getting a goal against them. Pankracy Topolski hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Stefan Cieslak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juliusz Kolano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 40 minutes of play, Kotowa's Pankracy Topolski made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janusz Kasiewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Kotowa's Pankracy Topolski got a free kick in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witomir Literski made a kick off. Janusz Kasiewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Topolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Witomir Literski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Janusz Kasiewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Witomir Literski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Kotowa's Witomir Literski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Janusz Kasiewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Witomir Literski was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Kotowa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kotowa's zone, Grzegorz Budzyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juliusz Kolano came out of the goal and Grzegorz Budzyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Janusz Kasiewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Furgat in the 79th minute of play. With his leg Janusz Kasiewski managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Kotowa's Witomir Literski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zawisza Bydgoszcz S.A's Janusz Kasiewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Zawisza Bydgoszcz S.A from getting a goal against them. Kazimierz Furgat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pankracy Topolskis short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Janusz Kasiewski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Witomir Literski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kazimierz Furgat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Witomir Literski came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Kotowa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witomir Literski couldn't finish the play. After 96 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz S.A got a freekick which was hit by Tytus Dejo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Sobczak in the 99th minute of play forced Kotowa's goalkeeper Juliusz Kolano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Kotowa players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
