In the 21st minute, Roch Oborski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maksymilian Basaik's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Krzysztof Czerny skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fjorentina's zone, Bogdan Gozdowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krzysztof Czerny came out of the goal and Bogdan Gozdowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Fjorentina's Krzysztof Czerny got control of the ball when Maksymilian Basaik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bogdan Gozdowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute Bogdan Gozdowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Czerny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Fjorentina's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Gozdowski came free, but Krzysztof Czerny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedykt Chazon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Konotopa getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Konotopa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maksymilian Basaik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Maksymilian Basaik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Czerny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Gozdowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krzysztof Czerny having to interfere. Krzysztof Czerny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Gozdowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Radomil Niewiadomski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 76 minutes, Bogdan Gozdowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Konotopa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Gozdowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Krzysztof Czerny came out of the goal and Bogdan Gozdowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Maksymilian Basaik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Krzysztof Czerny was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Krzysztof Czerny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Gozdowski in the 83rd minute of play. Radomil Niewiadomski hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Benedykt Chazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute of the match Juliusz Malewicki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustaw Beninda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Bogdan Gozdowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Maksymilian Basaik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krzysztof Czerny was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
