But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Pionek couldn't finish the play. Zygmunt Kasprzykowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Misiorowski having to interfere. The supporters of Real Z Łowicz booed when Grzyb Fordon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Lemiesz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Grzyb Fordon's Tanek Wojtyna got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Stanislaw Klocko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Misiorowski having to interfere. In the 36th minute Zygmunt Kasprzykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Misiorowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Misiorowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zygmunt Kasprzykowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Grzyb Fordon got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Rybak. Adam Sroki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damazy Pionek went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 48 minutes of play, Real Z Łowicz's Gwidon Prus made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleksander Misiorowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zygmunt Kasprzykowski to make the kick off. Tobiasz Anszczak kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Aureliusz Opat's late challenge caught a Grzyb Fordon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliusz Opat helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Real Z Łowicz getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Aureliusz Opat hit a great ball. Stanislaw Klocko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aleksander Misiorowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Kasprzykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Zygmunt Kasprzykowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aleksander Misiorowski. Zygmunt Kasprzykowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. If Zygmunt Kasprzykowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Damazy Pionek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grzyb Fordon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damazy Pionek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walery Skirzynski made a great header on Grzyb Fordon's corner, it was just that Real Z Łowicz's Adam Sroki managed to reach the ball for a save. Piotr Lemiesz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Grzyb Fordon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Z Łowicz's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Z Łowicz.
