Wit Arbaszewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borys Molski in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Molski in the 13th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Wit Arbaszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Zieba scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wit Arbaszewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Igor Derlanga kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, Manchester United's Tanek Trojanowski made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konstanty Nakoneczny was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wit Arbaszewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marek Zieba in the 22nd minute. Tanek Trojanowski scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konstanty Nakoneczny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Borys Molski fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stypin's protests and gave Borys Molski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Stypin getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Borys Molski hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Stypin's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Rzeszutek came free, but Konstanty Nakoneczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wit Arbaszewski stood somewhat misplaced when Borys Molski came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 33 minute. In the 41st minute, Borys Molski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ksawery Duszenski to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Borys Molski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wit Arbaszewski. That made the score 3-2 in the 44 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Borys Molski made the kick off in the second half. Borys Molski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Wit Arbaszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Wieslaw Jajesniak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stypin and the Manchester United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stypin getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Konstanty Nakoneczny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Borys Molski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wit Arbaszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Madajczyk hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Stypin's Borys Molski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wit Arbaszewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wit Arbaszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Zieba in the 78th minute of play. Konstanty Nakoneczny was a little too slow when Zbyszek Rzeszutek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 3-3. Wit Arbaszewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marek Zieba's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Marek Zieba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wit Arbaszewski having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ksawery Duszenski during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ksawery Duszenski hit a great ball. Borys Molski struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Wit Arbaszewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stypin.
