The supporters of GKS Rozbark Bytom booed when Sparta Białystok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Bambas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonard Basinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leszek Bartoszek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Basinski in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Marciewicz in the 24th minute of play forced Sparta Białystok's goalkeeper Leszek Bartoszek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GKS Rozbark Bytom's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
