After 45 played minutes GKS Rozbark Bytom got a freekick which was hit by Wit Piglowski. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Iwo Fudalej came out of the goal and Karl-Michael Linqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Olaf Borowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juliusz Praski took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwo Fudalej. Iwo Fudalej dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Juliusz Praski struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Iwo Fudalej didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
