The referee ignored Orzeł Branice's protests and gave Tobiasz Wierzchowski a yellow card for diving instead. Tobiasz Wierzchowski kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Karol Ranowiecki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Michael Linqvist went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Lizewski in the 12th minute of play forced Wolverhampton Wanderers's goalkeeper Szymon Okropny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juliusz Praski struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Karol Ranowiecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolverhampton Wanderers. Karl-Michael Linqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karol Ranowiecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Linqvist in the 19th minute of the match. Karl-Michael Linqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25thth minute of the game Juliusz Praski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orzeł Branice's Karol Ranowiecki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Juliusz Praski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Michael Linqvist took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karol Ranowiecki. Karol Ranowiecki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Szymon Okropny successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Wolverhampton Wanderers's Szymon Okropny got control of the ball when Tobiasz Wierzchowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Orzeł Branice:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wolverhampton Wanderers:s goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Maciej Lizewski made the kick off in the second half. Szymon Okropny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Wierzchowski in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludomir Hryc during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ludomir Hryc hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Edward Kaider sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wolverhampton Wanderers's Szymon Okropny didn't even have to move. In the 59th minute of the match Hugon Popowicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Szymon Okropny skillfully saved the ball. If Juliusz Praski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Karl-Michael Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Orzeł Branice's Maciej Lizewski got a free kick in the 69th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Karl-Michael Linqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Karol Ranowiecki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karol Ranowiecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juliusz Praski in the 78th minute. Ludomir Hryc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Maciej Lizewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Michael Linqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Wolverhampton Wanderers's Karl-Michael Linqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 96th minute, Maciej Lizewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wolverhampton Wanderers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
