The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tanek Marciewicz came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zbigniew Zielinski could save by the left post. If Tomasz Patrylo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Tanek Marciewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbigniew Zielinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Juliusz Janiczek struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Wladyslaw Brodzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SA NOK. Zbigniew Zielinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomasz Patrylo in the 33rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Polkowice's zone, Juliusz Janiczek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wladyslaw Brodzki came out of the goal and Juliusz Janiczek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 played minutes FC Polkowice got a freekick which was hit by Filip Ogrodowicz. Wladyslaw Brodzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Janiczek in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomasz Patrylo was the one to do the kick off. Boleslaw Luty kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Feliks Piesciuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Feliks Piesciuk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 67 minutes into the match, FC Polkowice's Tanek Marciewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zbigniew Zielinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, SA NOK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Patrylo came free, but Zbigniew Zielinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boleslaw Luty hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, FC Polkowice's Tomasz Patrylo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbigniew Zielinski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wladyslaw Brodzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliusz Janiczek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Tanek Marciewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Zbigniew Zielinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the SA NOK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Polkowice.
