An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Lisewski in the 17th minute of play forced Sandecja Nowy Sącz's goalkeeper Benedykt Jaszynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Juliusz Rzentkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0.
