After a defensive mix-up in Sword United FC's zone, Aleksander Ligas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Kolacki came out of the goal and Aleksander Ligas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Lech Dziedziak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Aleksander Ligas came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Nowość fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksander Ligas couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Jucha got free with Andrzej Wisniewski in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nowość's Mariusz Czerwinski got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lech Dziedziak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lech Dziedziak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roland Kolacki having to make a save. After 27 minutes of play, Sword United FC's Tanek Blochowiak made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrzej Wisniewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zachary Wielkopolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Andrzej Wisniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Kolacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lech Dziedziak, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Mariusz Czerwinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Kolacki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariusz Czerwinski ran back to his position shaking his head. Aleksander Ligas hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Sebastian Lodowy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrzej Wisniewski skillfully saved the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Sword United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Dziedziak came free, but Roland Kolacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lech Dziedziak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th match minute, Nowość was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobald Gierasik to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zachary Wielkopolski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andrzej Wisniewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Jucha in the 52nd minute of play. It was beautiful to see Nowość's Aleksander Ligas in action when he in the 63rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Lech Dziedziak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute, Lech Dziedziak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aleksander Ligas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sword United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Witold Sikola came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Nowość fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witold Sikola couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute Lech Dziedziak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Kolacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Aleksander Ligas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 played minutes Sword United FC got a freekick which was hit by Tanek Blochowiak. Mariusz Czerwinski struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Roland Kolacki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nowość. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sword United FC could leave the field as winners, despite Nowość having more of the ball for most of the match.
