Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tadeusz Smolarek started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Kazimierz Sadlowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute of the match Julian Ruszczyk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radowit Rakiewicz skillfully saved the ball. Jedrzej Kicia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Trojanowski's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Walery Dubilas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Walery Dubilas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egipt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walery Dubilas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Witomir Zagrobelny kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Tomasz Trojanowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jedrzej Kicia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Jedrzej Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Trojanowski in the 23rd minute of play. Walery Dubilas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jedrzej Kicia having to make a save. Walery Dubilas in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jedrzej Kicia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Smolarek in the 30th minute of play forced Egipt's goalkeeper Radowit Rakiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jedrzej Kicia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Trojanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walery Dubilas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomasz Trojanowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radowit Rakiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Smolarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Witomir Zagrobelny hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Witomir Zagrobelny charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Witomir Zagrobelny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Egipt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Zagrobelny to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Napoleon Szkaradek during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Walery Dubilas came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Egipt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walery Dubilas couldn't finish the play. Dariusz Witwicki hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Narzym's Jedrzej Kicia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Trojanowski in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Tomasz Trojanowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egipt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomasz Trojanowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egipt's Walery Dubilas got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeusz Smolarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jedrzej Kicia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Trojanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomasz Trojanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeusz Smolarek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radowit Rakiewicz having to interfere. Roman Urban got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-1 in the right cross in the 96th match minute before Radowit Rakiewicz had time to react. Narzym were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Egipt's much stronger midfield.
