Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edward Naumowicz started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gniewoszów SA's goalkeeper Witomir Ochylski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Zbyszek Pozorski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Strzygi SA's Julian Pleban couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gniewoszów SA. After having played for 15 minutes, Teofil Dobilas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gniewoszów SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofil Dobilas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Antoni Percha could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Witomir Ochylski however easily saved by the left post. In the 21st match minute, Gniewoszów SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Dobilas to maneuver through the defense. Antoni Percha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antoni Percha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witomir Ochylski having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Strzygi SA's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Rydzyk came free, but Jerzy Kochowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edward Banaszak during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Roman Rydzyk made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gniewoszów SA booed when Strzygi SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Smolarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Teofil Dobilas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jerzy Kochowski. The goal made the score 1-1. Teofil Dobilas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jerzy Kochowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Teofil Dobilas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 62nd minute. Edward Naumowicz succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Antoni Percha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Witomir Ochylski having to make a save. Roman Rydzyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerzy Kochowski having to make a save. After 79 minutes, Alfred Gecionis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strzygi SA and the Gniewoszów SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Strzygi SA! When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, Gniewoszów SA's Fryderyk Scigan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jerzy Kochowski. In the 83rd minute, Edward Naumowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edward Naumowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Witomir Ochylski having to make a save. The Strzygi SA manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Gniewoszów SA to win.
