In the 4thth minute of the game Bartlomiej Porajewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barca Lech's Boleslaw Oleszak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's Tytus Przewozik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boleslaw Oleszak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Boleslaw Oleszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartlomiej Porajewski in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Kowalski in the 14th minute of play forced GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's goalkeeper Bogumil Ciechocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boleslaw Oleszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartlomiej Porajewski in the 17th minute of play. Boleslaw Oleszak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartlomiej Porajewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 19 minutes, Igor Oborski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Oborski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bernard Kapelski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Barca Lech's goal looked a bit too open when Bartlomiej Porajewski came free, but Boleslaw Oleszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olaf Skoroda in the 27th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Bartlomiej Porajewski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Edmund Kowalski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bogumil Ciechocki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, one of Barca Lech:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Boleslaw Oleszak had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Olaf Skoroda's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Barca Lech's goalkeeper Boleslaw Oleszak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartlomiej Porajewski. 45 minutes into the game, Bartosz Motowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barca Lech the free kick. In the 45th minute, Bartosz Motowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartlomiej Porajewski to make the kick off. The supporters of Barca Lech booed when GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Motowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Barca Lech's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Bronicki came free, but Boleslaw Oleszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmund Kowalski during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tytus Przewozik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th match minute, GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartlomiej Porajewski to maneuver through the defense. Edmund Kowalski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Bogumil Ciechocki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
