Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Andrzej Lerych made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes Boruta Łęczyca got a freekick which was hit by Przemyslaw Mlekodaj. Cyryl Pierz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th match minute, FC Szydłowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafal Charlos to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Boruta Łęczyca booed when FC Szydłowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szymon Glembin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 15th minute, when Boruta Łęczyca's Janusz Pleban after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Klement Gdaniec in FC Szydłowiec's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. If Cyryl Pierz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Przemyslaw Mlekodaj blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Klement Gdaniec having to make a save. The long shot by Cyryl Pierz in the 19th minute really tested Klement Gdaniec's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 20 minutes into the game, Emil Zabrzeski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Szydłowiec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boruta Łęczyca the free kick. Emil Zabrzeski kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Szydłowiec's Witold Dombroski got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Klement Cwynar came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Szydłowiec's Leonard Marajda. But to his dismay, Leonard Marajda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 29 minutes into the game, Rafal Charlos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Klement Cwynar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Leonard Marajda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klement Cwynar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafal Charlos went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Andrzej Lerych came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Boruta Łęczyca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrzej Lerych couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Rafal Charlos notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Boruta Łęczyca's Klement Cwynar. Klement Cwynar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Klement Cwynar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafal Charlos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Klement Gdaniec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Lerych in the 47th minute of play. Napoleon Fujara was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Marajda was the one to do the kick off. Rafal Charlos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Klement Cwynar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Boruta Łęczyca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Podwojski to maneuver through the defense. Cyryl Pierz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Cyryl Pierz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Klement Gdaniec was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 69th minute of the match Przemyslaw Mlekodaj shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klement Gdaniec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Przemyslaw Mlekodaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Klement Gdaniec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Boruta Łęczyca's goalkeeper Klement Cwynar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafal Charlos. Wlodzimierz Ikalewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match Janusz Pleban shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klement Gdaniec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Klement Cwynar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Dombroski in the 78th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witold Dombroski got free with Klement Cwynar in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Boruta Łęczyca's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Zabrzeski came free, but Klement Cwynar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Boruta Łęczyca getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Marek Podwojski hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miromir Drzewucki got free with Klement Cwynar in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Boruta Łęczyca's Klement Cwynar got control of the ball when Rafal Charlos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wlodzimierz Ikalewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Szydłowiec's zone, Janusz Pleban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klement Gdaniec came out of the goal and Janusz Pleban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, FC Szydłowiec's Witold Dombroski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Klement Cwynar. Klement Cwynar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. The FC Szydłowiec supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Szydłowiec would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
