Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Skronina's Cyryl Banaszak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Zapady got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Furlan. Duarte Furlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilbert Rode. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duarte Furlan ran back to his position shaking his head. After 8 minutes, Tymoteusz Zaremba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skronina and the Zapady players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Skronina:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zapady:s goal. The referee gave Zapady a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leon Wolnik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Skronina's Gilbert Rode. 0-1. Duarte Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Skronina's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Furlan came free, but Gilbert Rode reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Skronina got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Gongolewicz. After 17 minutes of play, Zapady's Duarte Furlan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilbert Rode was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, Duarte Furlan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gilbert Rode was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Skronina's Karol Pluciennik got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terrence Hamm in the 28th minute of play forced Skronina's goalkeeper Gilbert Rode to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Terrence Hamm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Rode saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Pluciennik got free with Cyryl Bobrowski in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Leon Wolnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Rode saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Terrence Hamm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gilbert Rode tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Duarte Furlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Rode was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Jedrzej Kopacz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Duarte Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terrence Hamm to strike the kick off in the second half. Duarte Furlan had several of the Skronina's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Gilbert Rode as he didn't even see the shot coming. Skronina's Karol Pluciennik got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Terrence Hamm was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Zapady's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cyryl Bobrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Pluciennik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilbert Rode took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terrence Hamm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilbert Rode made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Duarte Furlan sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Terrence Hamm kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilbert Rode. That made the score 0-6 in the 75 minute of play. After 78 minutes, Karol Pluciennik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skronina and the Zapady players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Skronina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karol Pluciennik to maneuver through the defense. If Terrence Hamm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edmund Gongolewicz fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skronina's protests and gave Edmund Gongolewicz a yellow card for diving instead. When Zapady's Terrence Hamm in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skronina's goalie prevented a goal. Gilbert Rode showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrence Hamm in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes in the game, Leon Wolnik fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gilbert Rode having to interfere. Boruc Gdowski's late challenge caught a Zapady's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boruc Gdowski helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Skronina got a freekick which was hit by Boruc Gdowski. It was beautiful to see Zapady's Chesney Heath in action when he in the 92nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 96th play minute Duarte Furlan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gilbert Rode. 0-7. Zapady's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
