The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carrigtwohill reached it. In the 5th match minute, Carrigtwohill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Zabrzeski to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Carrigtwohill's Damazy Andrychowski got control of the ball when Miroslaw Ruszczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damazy Andrychowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Oryl in the 11th minute of the match. When Carrigtwohill's Antoni Pionek in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Phenomenal Dynow's Zbyszko Wojtowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Mojsiewicz in the 19th minute of play. Zbyszko Wojtowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Pionek in the 22nd minute of the match. Zbyszko Wojtowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Mojsiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Witold Mojsiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Wojtowicz having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Oryl to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Slawomir Skorny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Andrychowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszko Wojtowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antoni Pionek's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Tobiasz Gecionis kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Fryderyk Nalaskowski scored 0-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zbyszko Wojtowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Lucjan Kiszkiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Phenomenal Dynow got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Niezywy. Witold Mojsiewicz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Zbyszko Wojtowicz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Oryl in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damazy Andrychowski saved Carrigtwohill from getting behind. Damazy Andrychowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Oryl, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carrigtwohill eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
