The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roland Cerocki kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Wrześniaki FC's Rafal Dawiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Carrasqueira in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match LFS Sapphire Club got a corner. Wrześniaki FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Witalis Tamulewicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on LFS Sapphire Club's corner Witalis Tamulewicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafal Dawiec quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Wrześniaki FC's Pankracy Hryc got a free kick in the 17th minute. Wrześniaki FC's Rafal Dawiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Carrasqueira in the 26th minute of play. LFS Sapphire Club's attentive Isidro Carrasqueira managed to snatch the ball when Pankracy Hryc made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Pankracy Hryc hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, LFS Sapphire Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Cerocki to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th match minute, Wrześniaki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Hryc to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Wrześniaki FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Hatman came free, but Rafal Dawiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes LFS Sapphire Club got a freekick which was hit by Witalis Tamulewicz. With a little luck, LFS Sapphire Club's Baltasar Aznaro got control of the ball when Maciej Dylla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 55 played minutes LFS Sapphire Club got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Hatman. Baltasar Aznaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigiusz Marczyniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Wrześniaki FC's Rafal Dawiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Hatman in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Wrześniaki FC booed when LFS Sapphire Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stasio Redisz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Witalis Tamulewicz took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Rafal Dawiec to make any attempt to save it. In the 93rd minute Maciej Dylla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wasyl Waselenczuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Baltasar Aznaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The LFS Sapphire Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LFS Sapphire Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
