The crowd rose to their feet as Tadeusz Latkiewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wasyl Praski. That made the score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. Eric Brummer scored 3-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wasyl Praski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Slawomir Pawelczyk got a free kick in the 15th minute. Aivaras Adomavičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Rutecki, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Eric Brummer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Wasyl Praski made a huge save. Tadeusz Latkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KS Żołędowo's Bartosz Fetor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aivaras Adomavičius in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 31st minute Jedrzej Ikalewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivaras Adomavičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Tadeusz Latkiewicz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wasyl Praski. That made the score 4-0 after 35 minutes of play. Tadeusz Latkiewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wasyl Praski having to make a save. Aivaras Adomavičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Borowski in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Eric Brummer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Brummer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Tadeusz Latkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeusz Latkiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wasyl Praski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of KS Żołędowo booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slawomir Pawelczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jedrzej Ikalewicz made a kick off. Wasyl Praski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Sliwinski in the 51st minute of the match. When Leszek Hatman fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Żołędowo's protests and gave Leszek Hatman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, KS Żołędowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leszek Hatman to maneuver through the defense. Wasyl Praski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeusz Latkiewicz's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The KS Żołędowo fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when KS Żołędowo's Jedrzej Ikalewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 65th minute, KS Żołędowo's Jedrzej Ikalewicz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aivaras Adomavičius. Aivaras Adomavičius yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Aivaras Adomavičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Ikalewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Pisarczyk. A collision led to Zawisza Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Sebastian Wojtkiewicz hit a great ball. 77 minutes in the game, Jedrzej Ikalewicz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aivaras Adomavičius having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Igor Modliszewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. With an all-out effort, KS Żołędowo's Aivaras Adomavičius threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zbyszko Rutecki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 92 minutes into the game, Zbyszko Rutecki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-4. Aivaras Adomavičius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans cheered their team off the field, for while KS Żołędowo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
