When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Krzysztof Albercki sped through Kociaczki Gliwice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrzej Dejo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikolaj Sakowicz got free with Miroslav Písecký in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Burn's Miroslav Písecký proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Burn from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mikolaj Sakowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Miroslav Písecký tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tobiasz Fronczak fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kociaczki Gliwice's protests and gave Tobiasz Fronczak a yellow card for diving instead. Tobiasz Fronczak hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Teobald Borcz hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Lech Plech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes, Krzysztof Albercki made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kociaczki Gliwice's Andrzej Dejo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Miroslav Písecký made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Fronczak in the 90th minute of play. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Teobald Borcz sped through FC Burn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miroslav Písecký. If Mikolaj Sakowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Burn's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
