When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Marcin Oliszewski took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Tolek Cupial to make any attempt to save it. After the first half Chelsea FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Chants of Chelsea FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as VTEC Warszawa had held the ball for most of the match.
