Ryszard Jarosiewicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Radowit Wojtowicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobiasz Budarz went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Radowit Wojtowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Czciborek in the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, SalosSwitSosnowiec's Karol Wielowiejski got control of the ball when Stanislaw Kapera tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Wolverhampton Wanderers getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Stasio Rasialdo hit a great ball. Wolverhampton Wanderers's Radowit Wojtowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Szel in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Czciborek in the 27th minute of play forced Wolverhampton Wanderers's goalkeeper Radowit Wojtowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SalosSwitSosnowiec's Tobiasz Budarz got a free kick in the 29th minute. Stanislaw Kapera was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Wolverhampton Wanderers's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sebastian Czciborek struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Radowit Wojtowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SalosSwitSosnowiec. In the 40th minute, Wolverhampton Wanderers's Stanislaw Kapera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. With 44 minutes on the clock, Ryszard Jarosiewicz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 43 minutes into the game, one of Wolverhampton Wanderers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Czciborek made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Tobiasz Budarz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbigniew Czeszejko hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Stanislaw Kapera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karol Wielowiejski having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Sebastian Czciborek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radowit Wojtowicz. Sebastian Czciborek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. If Stanislaw Kapera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Czciborek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Radowit Wojtowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Stanislaw Kapera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolverhampton Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislaw Kapera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Stanislaw Kapera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolverhampton Wanderers's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanislaw Kapera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karol Wielowiejski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 79 minutes, Jakub Bara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SalosSwitSosnowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakub Bara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, SalosSwitSosnowiec's Sebastian Czciborek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Radowit Wojtowicz. Radowit Wojtowicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. A collision led to Wolverhampton Wanderers getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Oswald Reutter hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Boguslaw Damazki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wolverhampton Wanderers's Stanislaw Kapera in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SalosSwitSosnowiec's goalie prevented a goal. In the 89th match minute, Wolverhampton Wanderers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Czeszejko to maneuver through the defense. Karol Wielowiejski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislaw Kapera in the 94th minute of play. Wolverhampton Wanderers's Pankracy Maziarz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karol Wielowiejski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Wolverhampton Wanderers manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing SalosSwitSosnowiec to win.
