Liverbird FCC's Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswald Reutter in the 7th minute of play. Liverbird FCC's Zbigniew Dulka got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stanislaw Kaperas short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stanislaw Kapera came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz could save by the left post. Radowit Wojtowicz came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverbird FCC's Zbigniew Dulka. But to his dismay, Zbigniew Dulka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Stanislaw Kapera capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stanislaw Kapera really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Zbigniew Dulka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radowit Wojtowicz having to interfere. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Oswald Reutter sped through Liverbird FCC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz. The supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers booed when Liverbird FCC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Basinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Wolverhampton Wanderers's Oswald Reutter in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liverbird FCC's goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the game, Oswald Reutter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz. Oswald Reutter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Wolverhampton Wanderers's Radowit Wojtowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Lech in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oswald Reutter to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Liverbird FCC's Olgierd Walkowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radowit Wojtowicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Radowit Wojtowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Lesiecki in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers booed when Liverbird FCC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Gollob didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liverbird FCC's Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pankracy Maziarz in the 54th minute of play. Pankracy Maziarz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Zbigniew Dulka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverbird FCC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zbigniew Dulka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 70 minutes, Hugon Basinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverbird FCC and the Wolverhampton Wanderers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Liverbird FCC's Hugon Basinski got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Stanislaw Kapera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswald Reutter in the 74th minute of play forced Liverbird FCC's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswald Reutter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz having to interfere. Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswald Reutter in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wolverhampton Wanderers's goalkeeper Radowit Wojtowicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Liverbird FCC's goal looked a bit too open when Oswald Reutter came free, but Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Liverbird FCC's Olgierd Walkowski got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Stasio Rasialdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Wolverhampton Wanderers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
