The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 52 minutes, Radomir Zbydniowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legia Warszawa Boy and the GKS Wybrzeze Gdansk players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Radomir Buczko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes Legia Warszawa Boy got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Buczko. 66 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa Boy's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Tylinski came free, but Cezary Filipowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GKS Wybrzeze Gdansk's Kazimierz Urban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Buczko in the 88th minute of play. Lucjan Furgal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Kazimierz Urban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
