Bartlomiej Klimkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to GKS Wybrzeze Gdansk getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeusz Daszkowski to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Liverbird FCC's zone, Tadeusz Daszkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
