Juliusz Bartocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Wydrych in the 18th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Tanek Biskupiak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Podniebyle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanek Biskupiak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 minutes, Waldemar Hajduk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WKS Śląsk Bystrzyca Kł. and the Podniebyle players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Aureliusz Zawadzki made the kick off in the second half. 1-3 became the score in the 54th minute when Tanek Biskupiak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Podniebyle's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
