After 18 played minutes, Chelsea Brudzew's Piotr Harbaszewski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mieszko Skarpiak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chelsea Brudzew reached it. During the 19th minute of the match Barnaba Trynda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Barnaba Trynda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Sobiehen getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Barnaba Trynda hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Volkan Lolić put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mieszko Skarpiak. Jurand Piechna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adrian Lucila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoni Kaczankas short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Adrian Lucila to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mieszko Skarpiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volkan Lolić in the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, Chelsea Brudzew's Adrian Lucila got control of the ball when Antoni Kaczanka tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Volkan Lolić to make the kick off. Adrian Lucila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Kaczanka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Volkan Lolić took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mieszko Skarpiak. Mieszko Skarpiak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A collision led to Sobiehen getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jurand Piechna hit a great ball. Mieszko Skarpiak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Volkan Lolić's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Antoni Kaczanka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Lucila having to interfere. When Hugon Michalski fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sobiehen's protests and gave Hugon Michalski a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Sobiehen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chelsea Brudzew:s goal. Antoni Kaczanka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Adrian Lucila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoni Kaczanka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Antoni Kaczanka came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Sobiehen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antoni Kaczanka couldn't finish the play.
