With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fryderyk Weyna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Cezary Szkarpiak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cisy JP's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezary Szkarpiak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milosz Malewicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the game, Cezary Szkarpiak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cisy JP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Górnik Zabrze the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cisy JP's Cezary Szkarpiak got a free kick in the 38th minute. Fryderyk Weyna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marty Hayles's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Marty Hayles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Marty Hayles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cisy JP's Fryderyk Weyna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Marty Hayles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fryderyk Weyna was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Fryderyk Weyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Hayles in the 52nd minute of the match. Raí Costa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Fryderyk Weyna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marty Hayles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fryderyk Weyna having to interfere. Marty Hayles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fryderyk Weyna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Mancio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kazimierz Nienajadlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Milosz Malewicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marty Hayles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Fryderyk Weyna made a huge save. In the 73rd minute Raí Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Weyna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marty Hayles did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Fryderyk Weyna 75 minutes into the match. Marty Hayles in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fryderyk Weyna, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Izydor Panasewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Górnik Zabrze's supporters rose to their feet, but Izydor Panasewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Cisy JP's zone, Izydor Panasewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fryderyk Weyna came out of the goal and Izydor Panasewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Górnik Zabrze left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cisy JP.
