Radomir Pilsudski came out of the goal and Tadeusz Poling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 minutes of play, Cielii FC's Tadeusz Poling made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radomir Pilsudski was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tadeusz Poling sped through Legia Warszawa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Radomir Pilsudski. Manolo Rey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radomir Pilsudski having to make a save. Songur Çelikyay acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cyryl Solibieda. 35 minutes in the game, Manolo Rey dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The long shot by Jerzy Bentkowski in the 36th minute really tested Songur Çelikyay's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cielii FC played a much better game than Legia Warszawa and deserved their victory. The Legia Warszawa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
