Wawrzyniec Tylinski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Marian Bronkala made a huge save. Marian Bronkala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Rutecki in the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Pissen SA's Alfred Rutecki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Bronkala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wawrzyniec Tylinski to make the kick off.
