The audience was convinced that Zbigniew Lewicki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeusz Tokarczyk was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Roland Niedbalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenon Waselenczuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomir Jarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Niedbalski made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ludomir Jarek sent off a good shot on target. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dawid Wawrukiewicz to make the kick off. If Dawid Wawrukiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Dawid Wawrukiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Karolew SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Wawrukiewicz couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute, Karolew SA's Dawid Wawrukiewicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Ponidzie Nida Pińczów's Adam Kochanowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ponidzie Nida Pińczów's Cezary Kasiewski got a free kick in the 88th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Karolew SA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
