The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benedykt Trynda hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Mietła Łajsce's Tolek Penc got a free kick in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Barnaba Bejger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mietła Łajsce's supporters rose to their feet, but Barnaba Bejger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Zbydniewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mietła Łajsce's Ziemowit Kosel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronim Jekot in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Smieciarze's Radoslaw Piczak got a free kick in the 11th minute. Tolek Penc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Julian Zbydniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Smieciarze booed when Mietła Łajsce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Penc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ziemowit Kosel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hieronim Jekot in the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Smieciarze's Mikolaj Matela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ziemowit Kosel. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Bochynski in the 29th minute of play forced Mietła Łajsce's goalkeeper Ziemowit Kosel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Zbydniewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Patora, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to Mietła Łajsce getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tolek Penc hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Mietła Łajsce's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Rykaczewski came free, but Ziemowit Kosel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Bochynski couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Mietła Łajsce's Tolek Penc ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julian Zbydniewski. Julian Zbydniewski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. With a little luck, Smieciarze's Julian Zbydniewski got control of the ball when Barnaba Bejger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Zbydniewski made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Barnaba Bejger sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Smieciarze getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Radoslaw Piczak hit a great ball. The Smieciarze fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Smieciarze's Mikolaj Matela looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 93rd minute Hieronim Jekot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Kosel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Smieciarze failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
