Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Popity's Napoleon Juzda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ziemowit Kosel was a little too slow when Napoleon Juzda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a little luck, Mietła Łajsce's Ziemowit Kosel got control of the ball when Grzegorz Jandryca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tolek Penc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Zenon Michalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mietła Łajsce's Szczepan Piechocki got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Napoleon Juzda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Kosel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Barnaba Bejger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mietła Łajsce's supporters rose to their feet, but Barnaba Bejger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zenon Michalski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 played minutes Popity got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Logewnik. Barnaba Bejger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Zenon Michalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Napoleon Juzda in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ziemowit Kosel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ziemowit Kosel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grzegorz Jandryca in the 30th minute. Tolek Penc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zenon Michalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grzegorz Jandryca got free with Ziemowit Kosel in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Alfred Rzegotka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ziemowit Kosel managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Popity's Grzegorz Jandryca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tolek Penc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tolek Penc was the one to do the kick off. Ziemowit Kosel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Juzda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witalis Patora kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Grzegorz Jandryca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Popity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grzegorz Jandryca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Grzegorz Jandryca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Jandryca in the 61st minute of play forced Mietła Łajsce's goalkeeper Ziemowit Kosel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grzegorz Jandryca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ziemowit Kosel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Napoleon Juzda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ziemowit Kosel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Grzegorz Jandryca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mietła Łajsce's Szczepan Piechocki got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Napoleon Juzda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerzy Rydzewski's late challenge caught a Popity's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerzy Rydzewski helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mietła Łajsce! Mietła Łajsce's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
