The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Lux1920 booed when DYNAMIT KATOWICE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Laurgain didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Lux1920's Jaroslaw Starogardzki tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ludomil Waselewicz in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Florian saved DYNAMIT KATOWICE from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, DYNAMIT KATOWICE's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Waselewicz came free, but Prudencio Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Piotr Rasialdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Florian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludomil Waselewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludomil Waselewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Piotr Rasialdo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prudencio Florian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krzysztof Gruchacz was the one to do the kick off. Boruc Jestrimski made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Piotr Rasialdo however managed to control. DYNAMIT KATOWICE's Prudencio Florian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomil Waselewicz in the 54th minute of play. Prudencio Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Rasialdo in the 56th minute of play. Ludomil Waselewicz came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Prudencio Florian could save by the left post. A collision led to DYNAMIT KATOWICE getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eberhardt Osted hit a great ball. Lux1920's attentive Feliks Cytrynski managed to snatch the ball when Zula Charlap made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. Ludomil Waselewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Prudencio Florian made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Piotr Rasialdo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prudencio Florian was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Ludomil Waselewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludomil Waselewicz in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Florian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind DYNAMIT KATOWICE's goalkeeper Prudencio Florian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute Wincent Erland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Florian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Ludomil Waselewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Prudencio Florian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Grzegorz Kolbe was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. In the 91st match minute, Lux1920 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Kolbe to maneuver through the defense. Lux1920's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
