Gilbert Skrzypiec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Wyrostek having to interfere. Herbert Mazierz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Jaszyna having to interfere. With a little luck, MKS Słupno's Pankracy Jaszyna got control of the ball when Herbert Mazierz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MKS Słupno's zone, Edmund Brudnicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Jaszyna came out of the goal and Edmund Brudnicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pankracy Jaszyna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmund Brudnicki's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When Lech Siwek fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MKS Słupno's protests and gave Lech Siwek a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Niklasfähre SA booed when MKS Słupno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lech Siwek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Skrzypiec's late challenge caught a Niklasfähre SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilbert Skrzypiec helped the player get up and apologised. Jerzy Bochinski shot from long distance in the 17th minute, but Pankracy Jaszyna was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 19 minutes into the game, Gwidon Zacharek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Niklasfähre SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MKS Słupno the free kick. 21 minutes into the match, MKS Słupno's Konrad Kuszczak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dariusz Wyrostek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dariusz Wyrostek came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Słupno's Konrad Kuszczak. But to his dismay, Konrad Kuszczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Herbert Mazierz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konrad Kuszczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Wyrostek having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, MKS Słupno's goalkeeper Pankracy Jaszyna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbigniew Sala. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 63rd minute, Herbert Mazierz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dariusz Wyrostek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Ludwiczak in the 66th minute of the match. Edmund Brudnicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, MKS Słupno's Konrad Kuszczak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dariusz Wyrostek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Brudnicki in the 82nd minute of play forced MKS Słupno's goalkeeper Pankracy Jaszyna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Herbert Mazierz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lech Ludwiczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konrad Kuszczak struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Dariusz Wyrostek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Słupno. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
