But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konrad Kuszczak couldn't finish the play. Pankracy Jaszyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Byczewski in the 12th minute of the match. Mieszko Byczewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, MKS Słupno's goal looked a bit too open when Mieszko Byczewski came free, but Pankracy Jaszyna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Konrad Kuszczak made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Zagrobelny. After having played for 46 minutes, Lech Ludwiczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Słupno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lech Ludwiczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lech Ludwiczak was the one to do the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Dzikie łydki nietoperza's Konstanty Nalaskowski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 86th minute of the match Lech Siwek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Zagrobelny skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Dzikie łydki nietoperza booed when MKS Słupno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Skrzypiec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konrad Kuszczak in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Zagrobelny prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
