Zdzislaw Kaczeniak charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Serteck SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kazimierz Klejnowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tolek Pietrowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serteck SA's Kazimierz Klejnowski was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Lukasz Kiewra made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Kazimierz Klejnowski sent off a good shot on target. If Zbyszko Piesciuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazimierz Klejnowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Lukasz Kiewra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleksander Barycz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kazimierz Klejnowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukasz Kiewra having to interfere. When Kazimierz Klejnowski came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Serteck SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kazimierz Klejnowski couldn't finish the play. Lukasz Kiewra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszko Piesciuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Lukasz Kiewra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Klejnowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Kazimierz Klejnowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serteck SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Kazimierz Klejnowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lukasz Kiewra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Janusz Teofila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Barycz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janusz Teofila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Barycz in the 96th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
