FC Kowol Ruda Slaska's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Demetrius Cho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Witold Buczko hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Arkadiusz Sitko scored 0-3 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wojciech Budzyn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Jaroslav Nechvátal got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Demetrius Cho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the FC Kowol Ruda Slaska defense, Jaroslav Nechvátal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wojciech Budzyn. The FC Kowol Ruda Slaska fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wojciech Budzyn should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soner Özarkın in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Kowol Ruda Slaska's goalkeeper Wojciech Budzyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wojciech Budzyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Rosado in the 34th minute of the match.
