Spectators: 7572 (Terracing: 5680, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aureliusz Szostak got the match started through his kick off. Tolek Jeziorkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Tomasz Dankowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZKS Narew 1962 Ostrołęka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 10th minute Tomasz Dankowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Pierz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Aureliusz Szostak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rupert Diamond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zygmunt Karanewski kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Lech Cichowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tolek Jeziorkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Korneliusz Pierz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC BASEL getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cyryl Ciborek hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as MZKS Narew 1962 Ostrołęka's Tomasz Dankowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Korneliusz Pierz. That made the score 3-1 after 36 minutes of play. Feliks Czekaj hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC BASEL's Kryspin Naskrent got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Korneliusz Pierz was a little too slow when Fulvio Di Silvio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tolek Jeziorkowski to make the kick off. If Leszek Niewiadomski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tolek Jeziorkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Korneliusz Pierz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tolek Jeziorkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliusz Domaracki charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliusz Domaracki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, FC BASEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliusz Domaracki to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, MZKS Narew 1962 Ostrołęka's goalkeeper Rupert Diamond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zygmunt Karanewski. If Lech Cichowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, MZKS Narew 1962 Ostrołęka's Tolek Jeziorkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Korneliusz Pierz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Di Silvio in the 85th minute of play forced FC BASEL's goalkeeper Korneliusz Pierz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Tolek Jeziorkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC BASEL getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Kryspin Naskrent hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Feliks Czekaj was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MZKS Narew 1962 Ostrołęka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC BASEL the free kick. In the 90th minute, Fulvio Di Silvio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Leszek Niewiadomski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Korneliusz Pierz. FC BASEL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leszek Niewiadomski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. When the referee ended the match the MZKS Narew 1962 Ostrołęka players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
