Korneliusz Pierz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dangerous Łaziska. Jacek Pilipiec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edgar Oryl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zbigniew Adamski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zygmunt Karanewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Oryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Oryl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Korneliusz Pierz having to make a save. Korneliusz Pierz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacek Pilipiec went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Teofil Dziurowicz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC BASEL's Mariusz Kluska got a free kick in the 27th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Dangerous Łaziska's Ryszard Seliga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 29 minutes of play, Dangerous Łaziska's Edgar Oryl made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Korneliusz Pierz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to FC BASEL getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Youri Ubels hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes FC BASEL got a freekick which was hit by Kryspin Naskrent. Korneliusz Pierz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Seliga in the 34th minute of play. Korneliusz Pierz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Oryl in the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Konstanty Wnukowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Oryl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Korneliusz Pierz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edgar Oryl came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Dangerous Łaziska fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Oryl couldn't finish the play. After the first half Dangerous Łaziska were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Konstanty Wnukowski was the one to do the kick off. Edgar Oryl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Korneliusz Pierz made a huge save. Korneliusz Pierz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Oryl in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Dangerous Łaziska's Edgar Oryl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Korneliusz Pierz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Jacek Pilipiec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Oryl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Dangerous Łaziska's Jacek Pilipiec ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Korneliusz Pierz. Korneliusz Pierz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Edgar Oryl succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 83rd playminute. In the 87th minute, Edgar Oryl made a precise shot to the right of Korneliusz Pierz. FC BASEL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. After a rather tough play, FC BASEL's Jerzy Dudek got a free kick in the 91st minute.
