The supporters of LB Athletic Poznań booed when Pracusie SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fryderyk Rydz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Pracusie SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Wojton came free, but Boleslaw Seliga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piotr Bartocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Makarewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincent Wojton in the 16th minute of play forced Pracusie SSA's goalkeeper Boleslaw Seliga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Ludomil Grunwalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Bartocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, LB Athletic Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Grunwalski came free, but Piotr Bartocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Herbert Bronder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludomil Grunwalski struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Herbert Bronder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Piotr Bartocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wincent Wojton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Seliga having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Bronder in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Piotr Bartocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pracusie SSA getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Teobald Makarewicz hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Radomil Prokowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boleslaw Seliga skillfully saved the ball. Iwo Siwek hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. A collision led to Pracusie SSA getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Teobald Makarewicz hit a great ball. Piotr Bartocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Bronder went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ludomil Grunwalski to strike the kick off in the second half. Wincent Golota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Seliga having to interfere. Boleslaw Seliga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Wojton in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of LB Athletic Poznań booed when Pracusie SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Redisz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56th play minutes Herbert Bronder shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Piotr Bartocha and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Wincent Golota managed to get in a good position for a shot. LB Athletic Poznań's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincent Golota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boleslaw Seliga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sylwester Poremba's late challenge caught a LB Athletic Poznań's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylwester Poremba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Sylwester Poremba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borys Awizo charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Borys Awizo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wincent Golota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 minutes, Wincent Golota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LB Athletic Poznań and the Pracusie SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Piotr Bartocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomil Grunwalski in the 87th minute of play. In the 93rd minute of the game, Zenon Dulemba landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field.
