The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kryspin Naumowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Boguslaw Loncki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wisła Kraków's Boguslaw Loncki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Wisła Kraków from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arkadiusz Debowy in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boguslaw Loncki saved Wisła Kraków from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Wisła Kraków's Cyryl Kazanowski got a free kick in the 20th minute. Boguslaw Loncki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arkadiusz Debowy's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Roman Zdanowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The long shot by Sebastian Hoffman in the 35th minute really tested Boguslaw Loncki's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 36th minute Roman Zdanowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walery Piszczor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Bucyki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wisła Kraków's Edmund Tylinski in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

61 minutes into the game, Roman Zdanowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wisła Kraków's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ®TEK® Janusze Futbolu the free kick. In the 66th minute, Roman Zdanowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmund Tylinski in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walery Piszczor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cyryl Kazanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Piszczor having to interfere. ®TEK® Janusze Futbolu's Arkadiusz Debowy got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Wisła Kraków's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Debowy came free, but Boguslaw Loncki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ®TEK® Janusze Futbolu's Jacek Rybak got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 94th minute Edmund Tylinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
