The crowd rose to their feet as Rafa Gliwice's Kajetan Tipinski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafael Simons. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. In the 18th minute Iwan Zarobski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Wolniewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajetan Tipinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Czeslaw Kasprzak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ksawery Wolniewicz. Rafa Gliwice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Czeslaw Kasprzak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Zarobski in the 26th minute of play forced Rafa Gliwice's goalkeeper Ksawery Wolniewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariusz Marosz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rafael Simons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Simons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Tipinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomil Pracki kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ksawery Wolniewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Zarobski in the 38th minute of the match. If Roland Gacek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Rafa Gliwice's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Kasprzak came free, but Ksawery Wolniewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Czeslaw Kasprzak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ksawery Wolniewicz made a huge save. In the 56th play minute Czeslaw Kasprzak came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ksawery Wolniewicz. 1-2. 60 minutes into the match, Akademia Pana Piotra's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Tipinski came free, but Rafael Simons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Czeslaw Kasprzak took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ksawery Wolniewicz. Ksawery Wolniewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 67th minute, Akademia Pana Piotra's Roland Gacek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ksawery Wolniewicz. Ksawery Wolniewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After 71 played minutes Rafa Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Domeracki. The crowd rose to their feet as Iwan Zarobski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ksawery Wolniewicz. That made the score 1-5 in the 74 minute of play. When Wawrzyniec Loncki fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rafa Gliwice's protests and gave Wawrzyniec Loncki a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rafa Gliwice getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. When Kajetan Tipinski came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Rafa Gliwice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajetan Tipinski couldn't finish the play. Ludomil Pracki's late challenge caught a Rafa Gliwice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludomil Pracki helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes, Rafa Gliwice's Jedrzej Nieruchliwy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Simons came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rafa Gliwice reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Akademia Pana Piotra had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
