Iwo Bienienda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kajetan Tipinski went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rasmus Strand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ksawery Wolniewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Kajetan Tipinski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Iwo Bienienda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mariusz Marosz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kajetan Tipinski came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Rafa Gliwice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajetan Tipinski couldn't finish the play. Iwo Bienienda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariusz Marosz in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Kutten Wolves booed when Rafa Gliwice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jedrzej Nieruchliwy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bogumil Bronkala charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bogumil Bronkala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maciej Pietras came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ksawery Wolniewicz could save by the left post. Edgar Bucyki was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Rafa Gliwice:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kutten Wolves:s goal. Rasmus Strand walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After the first half Rafa Gliwice were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rasmus Strand to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Iwo Bienienda successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Stanislaw Pusiak's late challenge caught a Kutten Wolves's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanislaw Pusiak helped the player get up and apologised. Ksawery Wolniewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Pietras in the 95th minute of play. Maciej Pietras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksawery Wolniewicz having to interfere. Rafa Gliwice's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
