They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Adam Dunajski made a great header on Tiedmannsdorf's corner, it was just that FC Wisla Plock's Jerzy Matuch managed to reach the ball for a save. When Iwan Penczkowski came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Tiedmannsdorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwan Penczkowski couldn't finish the play. Edgar Dobilas might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobald Jajko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Dobilas ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tiedmannsdorf eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
