After 15 minutes, Teobald Bubczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UNIA NOWA SARZYNA and the Republika Grudziądz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Teobald Bubczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th match minute, Republika Grudziądz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walery Kornatowski to maneuver through the defense. Jerzy Marchewka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Literski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Republika Grudziądz's Igor Galagan suffered a sore foot after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 20 minutes of play UNIA NOWA SARZYNA's Patryk Chazon was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes into the match, UNIA NOWA SARZYNA's goalkeeper Jacek Chodzinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucjan Lenertej. Witalis Gierlach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Tomaka's late challenge caught a UNIA NOWA SARZYNA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Tomaka helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Republika Grudziądz's zone, Witalis Gierlach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Marchewka came out of the goal and Witalis Gierlach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Witalis Gierlach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, UNIA NOWA SARZYNA's Witalis Gierlach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Marchewka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witalis Gierlach made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Republika Grudziądz's goalkeeper Jerzy Marchewka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Literski. Lucjan Lenertej sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobald Bubczyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerzy Marchewka having to make a save. UNIA NOWA SARZYNA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobald Bubczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adam Literski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Marchewka having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Teobald Bubczyk notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Republika Grudziądz's Jerzy Marchewka. Jerzy Marchewka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jerzy Marchewka made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Adam Literski sent off a good shot on target. Teobald Bubczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Republika Grudziądz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UNIA NOWA SARZYNA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
