Barnaba Palzewicz hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. A collision led to BVB Volish Gdańsk getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Waclaw Banaszak hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, RedDevils's Zdzislaw Juchno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andrzej Gniech. Andrzej Gniech yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ziemowit Rakowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrzej Gniech having to interfere. After 28 played minutes RedDevils got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Modrzewski. After recieving a nice pass, BVB Volish Gdańsk's Witomir Dudzik tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barnaba Palzewicz during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, RedDevils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnaba Palzewicz to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, RedDevils's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Basinski came free, but Witold Rydz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Zdzislaw Juchno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrzej Gniech was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. A collision led to RedDevils getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Szczepan Jajko hit a great ball. Witold Rydz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Banaszak, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zdzislaw Juchno to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes BVB Volish Gdańsk got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Kaczanek. Izydor Kisiel struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Andrzej Gniech didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RedDevils. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of RedDevils:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BVB Volish Gdańsk:s goal. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Waclaw Banaszak took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Witold Rydz to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of RedDevils booed when BVB Volish Gdańsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Basinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Juchno in the 70th minute of play forced BVB Volish Gdańsk's goalkeeper Andrzej Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, BVB Volish Gdańsk's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Juchno came free, but Andrzej Gniech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes BVB Volish Gdańsk got a freekick which was hit by Roland Basinski. 80 minutes into the match, Roland Basinski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Witold Rydz, 4-3. 84 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Juchno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RedDevils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BVB Volish Gdańsk the free kick. Zdzislaw Juchno kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Andrzej Gniech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Jajko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zdzislaw Juchno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RedDevils fans cheered their team off the field, for while BVB Volish Gdańsk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
