Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iwan Gondela started the match with the kick off. Andrzej Gniech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Pawelczyk in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind BVB Volish Gdańsk's goalkeeper Andrzej Gniech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ziemowit Dudzik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iwan Gondela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrzej Gniech having to interfere. Andrzej Gniech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Dudzik in the 23rd minute of the match. Szwecja's Patryk Gejda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Brysz in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Radoslaw Pietrasz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iwan Gondela hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Waclaw Banaszak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Patryk Gejda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ziemowit Dudzik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Ziemowit Dudzik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrzej Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Szwecja booed when BVB Volish Gdańsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zula Jaraczewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 minutes of play, Szwecja's Edward Adamowicz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrzej Gniech was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waclaw Banaszak to strike the kick off in the second half. Zygmunt Percha's late challenge caught a Szwecja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zygmunt Percha helped the player get up and apologised. Zygmunt Percha kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ziemowit Dudzik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrzej Gniech having to interfere. Andrzej Gniech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Gondela in the 60th minute of play. BVB Volish Gdańsk's Waclaw Banaszak got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Szwecja's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Brysz came free, but Patryk Gejda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, BVB Volish Gdańsk's Roland Basinski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patryk Gejda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Waclaw Banaszak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patryk Gejda was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Patryk Gejda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Moizuk in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Waclaw Banaszak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Edward Brysz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82nd play minutes Waclaw Banaszak shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Patryk Gejda and just under the crossbar into goal. Patryk Gejda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Brysz in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Brysz in the 88th minute of play forced Szwecja's goalkeeper Patryk Gejda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrzej Gniech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radoslaw Pietrasz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwan Gondela hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ziemowit Dudzik sped through BVB Volish Gdańsk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrzej Gniech. Szwecja's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
