Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aleksander Bykowski kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Sośnica Gliwice booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grzegorz Wodaszak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özdemir Özkutlu took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Boruc. Arturo Boruc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Arturo Boruc came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Sośnica Gliwice's Rafal Kajdasz. But to his dismay, Rafal Kajdasz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 16 minutes into the game, Sośnica Gliwice's Rafal Kajdasz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Boruc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Bartosz Chrzan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortaty's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartosz Chrzan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Rafal Kajdasz notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Gortaty's Arturo Boruc. Arturo Boruc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 29 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Franciszek Wicherek. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Czeslaw Skrzypiec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortaty's supporters rose to their feet, but Czeslaw Skrzypiec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arturo Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özdemir Özkutlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Ahlfors came free, but Arturo Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Skrzypiec. In the 45th minute Aleksander Bykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafal Kajdasz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arturo Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özdemir Özkutlu in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gortaty's Czeslaw Skrzypiec got a free kick in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sośnica Gliwice's Boleslaw Huk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arturo Boruc. That made the score 0-6 after 60 minutes of play. In the 64th minute, Rafal Kajdasz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Bykowski in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Özdemir Özkutlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Boruc made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Rafal Kajdasz sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özdemir Özkutlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Durvalino Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafal Kajdasz got free with Arturo Boruc in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 96 minutes, Boleslaw Huk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sośnica Gliwice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boleslaw Huk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Sośnica Gliwice could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gortaty throughout the match.
