Özdemir Özkutlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstanty Panasewicz having to interfere. Rafal Kajdaszs short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Konstanty Panasewicz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 42 minutes of play GKS Katowice's Slawomir Turok was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Sośnica Gliwice booed when GKS Katowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slawomir Turok didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafal Kajdasz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özdemir Özkutlu to make the kick off. Stefan Zarobski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GKS Katowice's Stefan Zarobski got a free kick in the 77th minute. Konstanty Panasewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özdemir Özkutlu in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Rafal Kajdasz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS Katowice's Konstanty Panasewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 played minutes Sośnica Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Egor Bubnov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özdemir Özkutlu in the 85th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Konstanty Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstanty Panasewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafal Kajdasz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Konstanty Panasewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Kajdasz in the 89th minute of play. With a little luck, Sośnica Gliwice's Gabriel Rosa got control of the ball when Stefan Zarobski tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the GKS Katowice players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sośnica Gliwice.
