The mood of the audience was pleasant when Miromir Kensicki made the kick off which started today's match. Slawomir Turok kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Ulryk Frankowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bayern Munchen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Trela in the 8th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Konstanty Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstanty Panasewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Trela in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Napoleon Trela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bayern Munchen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Napoleon Trela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konstanty Panasewicz came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bayern Munchen's Stasio Moczkiewicz. But to his dismay, Stasio Moczkiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Konstanty Panasewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Napoleon Trela's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Ulryk Frankowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bayern Munchen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulryk Frankowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the GKS Katowice defense, Stasio Moczkiewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstanty Panasewicz. The GKS Katowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstanty Panasewicz should have stopped the shot. Konstanty Panasewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Trela, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Andrzej Wlodyga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstanty Panasewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasio Moczkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulryk Frankowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Konstanty Panasewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Napoleon Trela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Bayern Munchen's Gilbert Domala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Kensicki in the 42nd minute of play. Andrzej Wlodyga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Konstanty Panasewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Napoleon Trela to make the kick off. Napoleon Trela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstanty Panasewicz having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, FC Bayern Munchen's Napoleon Trela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Konstanty Panasewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The supporters of FC Bayern Munchen booed when GKS Katowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tytus Majewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Stasio Moczkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Panasewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Slawomir Turok fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GKS Katowice's protests and gave Slawomir Turok a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, GKS Katowice's Slawomir Turok got a free kick in the 63rd minute. FC Bayern Munchen's Gilbert Domala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Zarobski in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Stasio Moczkiewicz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Konstanty Panasewicz, passed just outside the right post. Napoleon Trela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstanty Panasewicz having to interfere. After 74 played minutes FC Bayern Munchen got a freekick which was hit by Maksymilian Patrylo. Tolek Kochanowicz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Konstanty Panasewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Trela in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Olgierd Hodas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Konstanty Panasewicz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Stasio Moczkiewicz took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Konstanty Panasewicz to make any attempt to save it. Stasio Moczkiewicz's late challenge caught a GKS Katowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stasio Moczkiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. GKS Katowice's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andrzej Wlodyga 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. In the 91st minute, Stasio Moczkiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Frankowski in the 94th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Konstanty Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstanty Panasewicz came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bayern Munchen's Stasio Moczkiewicz. But to his dismay, Stasio Moczkiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. FC Bayern Munchen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
